New 2005 Vehicle Donation Tax Laws:

You can deduct up to $500, based solely upon the fair market value of your donated vehicle.
You may claim more for your itemized deduction, if the charity's gross sale price of your auto is greater then $500.
Luxury or late model cars needing major repairs, may entitle donor to an advantageous 'fair market value' deduction.

Easy to Donate an Automobile to Special Kids Fund

We specialize in luxury vehicles; foreign and domestic autos, recent models, classic cars and SUV's of more than $5,000 value. Donate your car and save the hassle of dealing with buyers, getting your funds and all of the problems and liabilities associated with selling a car...we do it all for you!

We submit vehicles promising a high return, directly to auctions that arrange for quick pick up. You will be entitled to the full gross sale price of your vehicle for your tax filing.

Also, highly valued cars needing major repairs - over $2,500, but still worth the charity investing in for a very considerable return, may qualify; entitling the donor to base their 2006 tax deduction on 'fair market' value.

SCHEDULE: You will receive an email response within 24 hours with details; many donors are called by the tow company within a day to schedule pick up, while others within 4-5 business days - we will let you know the schedule. If your donation cannot be accepted (usually due to cost of tow and value of the vehicle) then you will be notified within 36 hours.

CLEAR TITLE: Ask the tow company for specific instructions on signing of the title in your state. Seller name must be signed exactly as it appears on front. Any liens need documentation of their release.

TAX RECEIPT: The tow company will provide you with our Charity 501c3 Car Donation receipt. If any problem arises, contact us; we can email, fax or snail mail the receipt to you. The receipt does not state a value for your donation, the IRS makes the donor responsible to declare the value according to the actual condition of the car up to $500 (see links above for guidance) or you will be notified of the gross sale price of your vehicle, if over $500.

HOW SKF BENEFITS: Our donations are sold through auctions and to those who utilize the vehicles for parts. Typically, we receive 70% of the net.

Higher value vehicles benefit through direct dealer auction sales, bringing an increased benefit to us (tow and small fee), and to you for your tax deduction.
